Consistency is king. When they pull, pause. Proceed only when the lead loosens. Remember to celebrate the non-pulling moments with treats! For enhanced control, combine the harness with our specially designed Halti Training Lead.
When it’s off-leash time, you can either remove the harness or secure the strap in a loop to avoid snags. For harnesses made in 2021 and later, we’ve included a special loop to keep that strap tucked away neatly.
While the Halti is designed for comfort, it shouldn’t be worn for extended periods. Always supervise your dog to prevent any chewing on the harness. Safety first – never leave your dog unattended in a headcollar or harness.
